The Big Bounce America is in Town for One More Weekend!

Don't Miss It!

By Debra Flanagan, Macaroni KID Chicago Northside July 26, 2022

The Big Bounce America is back! It is located in Busse Forest Park in Rolling Meadows for only two weekends, and the first has passed. Tickets are still available for July 28-31st.

We experienced the Big Bounce America the last time it came to town in 2019. We actually invited twenty kids for my son's 10th birthday. I can tell you it was a huge hit!

The Big Bounce America claims to be the largest touring inflatable event in the entire world! It consists of four colorful attractions; The World's Largest Bounce House, The Giant, airSPACE, and Sport Slam. Tickets are $32 and include access to all four attractions for three hours. Time slots must be reserved in advance, and are divided between ages groups; toddlers, juniors, bigger kids, and adults only. You will also receive a timed entry for The World's Largest Bounce House. This helps control capacity and ensure that you will have plenty of space to fully enjoy the attraction.

Inside The World's Largest Bounce House is a live DJ that, in addition to spinning dance music, shoots off confetti cannons, and fills the house with bubbles. There are slides, ball pits, climbing walls, and plenty of instagram-worthy photo opps.

The Giant is a ginourmous, inflated, obstacle course. There are over 50 obstacles on the 900ft. course. Let me assure you, it is a work-out!

AirSPACE contains giant slides ending in a giant ball pit, and the Sport Slam arena with basketball hoops, dodgeball, and soccer games, has something for everyone.

Tips:

  • You must wear socks only onto the attractions, so if you travel between them, you are walking on grass/dirt. Bring an extra pair of socks to change into at the end.
  • Arrive early to find your way and obtain the best parking.
  • You may bring your own food and drinks. We actually have pizza delivered right up to us.
  • There are some cabanas scattered around, but they are first come, first served, so you might want to bring some tailgate chairs for anyone who doesn't have a ticket, or for hanging out after.
  • If you happen to bring a group, I recommend everyone wear the same shirt (ideally neon) to keep tabs on everyone. This place is huge!
  • Have water and sunscreen on hand! There is little shade on the obstacles, and all the running and jumping will create a thirst.
