Help to Keep Your New Year's Resolutions

By Debra Flanagan, Publisher January 2, 2024

No one is saying you didn't do enough in 2023 - YOU DID! However, there is nothing wrong with setting some goals for the new year. In fact, I think it is good to take a step back and ask yourself, what it is that you would like to improve upon.

No one's life is perfect. There is always room for improvement and growth. Why not identify something, or things, that if modified would give you greater peace? It doesn't have to be drastic. For instance, take the popular resolution to "work out more." Well, if you currently aren't working out at all, then working out once a week is "more." Mission accomplished.

It can be so overwhelming and self-defeating to set lofty goals. Think small, take tiny bites, and take pride in each and every achievement. We all know most resolutions don't last long, but who cares? That shouldn't deter you from setting one. One week or one month of success is better than none at all.
