Kidstreet Camps at Lillstreet Art Center offer an engaging, hands-on creative experience for kids and teens of all skill levels. With new camp offerings, updated facilities, and an expanded lineup of courses, Kidstreet continues to grow as a place where young artists can explore, experiment, and feel confident trying something new.
Our camps span art and new media, with projects that may include ceramics, animation, zine-making, drawing, printmaking, and mixed media. Each session is designed to be process-focused and age-appropriate, giving campers the freedom to follow their curiosity while building foundational skills. Camp days are structured yet playful, balancing guided instruction with open studio time.
Kidstreet’s recently refreshed classrooms and studios provide a safe, well-equipped environment with high-quality tools and materials. Camps are led by Chicago-based artists and experienced child care professionals who bring both creative expertise and a deep understanding of how children learn. Small class sizes allow instructors to offer individualized attention while fostering collaboration and community.
Offered during school breaks and throughout the summer, Kidstreet Camps are a meaningful way for kids and teens to stay engaged, make friends, and spend their days creating. Campers leave with artwork they’re proud of—and the confidence that comes from learning through art.
