Lillstreet Art Center offers a wide variety of summer camps for children and teens ages 3-16 in multimedia and specialized art forms including pottery, movie making, photography, fashion design, jewelry, comics, painting and more. Each day, campers add to the lively Lillstreet community, working and learning alongside professional artists. Each student is seen as an individual with a unique voice. Instructors foster a relaxed and non-competitive environment in the classroom and everyone has lots of fun! We hope we can help you plan an exciting, motivating, and fun summer for your young ones.

New week-long camps begin every week, June 10 – August 23, 2024

FEATURED CAMPS

With over 200 camps to choose from, there's something every young artist will enjoy! Explore some of our favorites below, and view our full summer schedule here.

Unicorns & Dragons
Ages 3-5
Embark on an adventure through the world of unicorns and dragons. Using fairy tales, folklore, and stories to spark the imagination, we will create clay sculptures, puppets, paintings, and squishy plushies of our creature friends to take home by the end of the week.

Inspired by Nature
Ages 6-8
Find inspiration in the natural world and translate these observations into drawings, paintings, and sculptures. We will create weavings using sticks, flowers, leaves, yarn, and ribbon, produce sun prints, paint using tools we collect, handbuild cups and leaf prints using terracotta clay, and more.

Make Your Own Video Game
Ages 8-10
Using Scratch, a graphical programming language designed at MIT, learn to construct your own interactive animations, games, and stories. Scratch helps us think creatively, reason systematically, and work collaboratively, all while making art! Our projects will be accessible through an online account, even after camp ends, so you can continue creating at home.

Sewing & Crafting
Ages 10-13
Explore various materials in textiles to create media in different sizes and forms. We will learn to use felting tools, explore crochet, sew bags, print using linocut tools, create felt animals, sew wall-hanging plushie plaques, and more.

EARLY MORNING DROP OFF & EXTENDED CARE: Choose from a variety of options to ensure your summer camp experience coordinates with your busy schedule. Full and half-day camps are available as well as early morning drop off, aftercare, and afternoon add-ons.

EARLY REGISTRATION DISCOUNT: Save up to $20 per camp when you register between January 22 – February 26, 2024.

Business Review

Reviews from camper's parents:

"The teachers were wonderful. Very kind and welcoming. You could tell they did everything possible to make our son comfortable in class. He was very proud to bring home his completed projects."

"He LOVED how he got to be creative, hands on, and learned something new. He was so proud of what he had at the end of the week."

"They were excited to go every single day. They brought home all of their projects and couldn't wait to talk through them all. Think they especially loved shaping the clay and firing it in the kiln!"
