LYRIQ Music School specializes in private lessons in piano, voice, violin, guitar and more! Customized lessons to meet you where you are, ages 5 through adults.
We usually start with a 4-week trial option for $154: (30-minute) lessons if you would like to try out your teacher and see how the student/teacher fit works for you. After the trial, if you do want to continue, there is a $25 student semester fee to cover all materials/recital fees. More advanced students may prefer longer lessons.
In general half-hour lessons are $38.50 per half hour, $55.00 per 45 minutes, and $73.00 per hour. If you start your trial at the beginning of or during the semester you will be eligible to continue lessons at the same day and time as your trial with the same teacher or you can choose to complete another trial with another teacher.
New and existing students can sign up for the entire semester. We have a Spring and Fall Semester with recitals in December and May. Students are asked to commit for the entire semester. Please note that we have open enrollment and that the semester can be prorated for those students not starting at the beginning of the semester. You can read all about how our school works here.
We’d love for you to commit to the whole semester but know you’re busy. We’ll work with you to make music a part of your life!
Small Group Classes
We run a Voice Explorers class for our younger vocalists. Check it out here. We also offer small group guitar lessons with two students if you’d like to take with a friend or family member!
We recommend Merry Music Makers classes for our youngest musicians. Learn more here.

“My daughter has been taking violin lessons with LYRIQ and it has been a great experience. They are very well organized and communicate very clearly about any scheduling changes. Marta is a wonderful teacher. She knows how to encourage and motivate kids to want to learn. I highly recommend Marta and the LYRIQ music school.” -Natsumi (parent)
“I've been taking voice lessons here for about a year now and Joan Marie is great! I feel like I've improved so much, my loved ones can tell too! Lyriq is also accommodating when it comes to planning lesson times. My work schedule could be a little unpredictable but we always were able to find time for music. I definitely recommend Lyriq to anybody looking to hone their music skills or try something new!” -Kate (adult student)
“LYRIQ l has all of the capacity of large music schools, but with exceptional teachers who take the time and dedicate the talent to learning as much about their students' goals and drive. My young son has developed into an accomplished classical guitarist by the age of 10. Looked like so much fun that I started taking lessons shortly thereafter. My teacher Cameron understands my goals and gives me tools, insights and space to reach them. Recommend LYRIQ to any and all who aspire for more music in their lives.”-Brad
