We are committed to providing safe, affordable, high quality child care, for children 6 weeks through 5 years of age, living in Ravenswood/Lincoln Square and surrounding neighborhoods of Chicago, in a home away from home set-up.
We focus on laughing, learning, reading, playing and discovering. Your child will enjoy enhancing their social, emotional, intellectual, cognitive, and motor skills while building confidence and self-esteem. We want children to learn to love books, rhymes, music, recognize shapes, letters and numbers. We believe that as early childhood educators we are responsible for providing infants, toddlers, and young children with positive learning experiences.
Children have the right to have their needs met and receive the proper education while in the care of their caregivers. Our methodology is centered around these three principles: CREATE, CULTIVATE, CELEBRATE.
Early development is a series of firsts. Their first words, first tower block, first mud pie are part of exploring and learning how to create in their environment. In our program, creation is woven into the core beliefs and practices of Sunny Kids Land.
Development builds upon itself and flourishes best in spaces where it is encouraged. Our programs are centered around the idea that given time, encouragement, and gentle course correction children are eager to grow. We strongly believe that positive reinforcement has the best results for a child's confidence.
At Sunny Kids Land, all kids are given one-on-one attention in order to recognize big and small achievements, since early childhood is a time of constant joy and learning and there is always something to celebrate!

Sunny Kids Land provides excellent care and I can't recommend this home daycare enough! We were looking for a small and personal place that our child could interact with other children, play freely, learn, and be active. SKL provides a safe and loving environment and Sonja and Zoran provide structure and a schedule and they help with our care and growth milestones. This is a wonderful team and space for kids to grow and learn.

Our family could not be more grateful to have found Sunny Kids Land Home Daycare. Our child started five months ago, and has absolutely thrived in Sonja and Zoran's care. The atmosphere is that of a family, but still provides great structure and educational opportunities for our child. We have seen noticeable advancements in our child, they have learned so much from Sonja and Zoran. What matters most is the care and love Sonja and Zoran provide to our child. It is so comforting and reassuring as a parent to know that our child is in the best of hands. It is a wonderful balance of having social interaction with children of different ages, and personal attention that a larger daycare cannot provide. When we pick our child up they tell us they don't want to leave. I think that says it all!

Our children have been cared for by Sonja and Zoran at Sunny Kids Land going back over 5 years. I can’t say enough about the environment that they create for our children. They balance fun and education on a daily basis. We have been very impressed with the projects and activities our kids come home with and the amount of knowledge they have gained above our expectations. As our son moves on to kindergarten we know he is set up for success and ahead of the game because of the work they have done with him. They also work to help the children problem solve and work through their emotions. They are extremely organized and professional. Sonja and Zoran go above and beyond and have a true passion for what they do. They are unmatched in my opinion.

As first-time parents we’ve heard all the horror stories about finding the right daycare through friends. However, the process was seamless, and we couldn’t be happier that our daughter is with Sonja, Zoran, and family at Sunny Kids Land as we immediately felt a sense of comfort and a level of trust with them. They’ve helped us immensely as first-time parents with recommendations/advice and are clearly passionate and committed to creating a fun, engaging, and educational/development forward environment. They’ve helped us have more confidence in the decisions we make as parents and have guided our daughter through all her exciting developmental milestones (while sending pictures along the way ❤️).
When dropping off our daughter we don’t feel like we are just dropping her off at just another daycare center… it feels like we’re dropping her off with family.
