Embracing Personal Growth:
Swift Nature Camp looks at camp as more than Fun! We see camp as an opportunity to increase your child's personal growth. It is a time to work on independence, responsibility, persistence, and much more. Our nurturing staff is more than just a getaway; it's a transformative journey for young minds. The canvas of personal growth is painted with vibrant strokes through diverse activities that challenge, inspire, and nurture campers.
The Camp For The 1st Time Camper:
Discovery Camp is our camp session that is exclusively for children who have never been to overnight camp before. This session offers all the activities as the other sessions of camp but offers so much more. Discovery Camp has 1/2 the children as our other sessions giving each child 2x the attention, extremely important for the camper that may have never spent time away from home before. In addition everyone is new to camp, reducing clicks and creating a level field for each child.
Water Activities:
Camp has nearly a 1/2 mile of frontage along a 1500 acre lake. This provides the backdrop for all our water activities. Including: Swimming, Canoeing, Kayaking, Tubing, Skiing, Fishing, Aquatic Ecology and so much more.
Land Activities:
On our 80 acres we have over 50 activities, including Archery, Arts and Crafts, Team building Course, Pickleball, Basketball, Field Games, Ping Pong, and many more.
Adventure Trips:
Each session campers will participate in an adventure trip from hiking to canoeing, these are the favorite activity of campers. Whether it be putting up a tent, fire-building, or just being resourceful, campers build a special connection to the great outdoors.
Animals and Nature:
Our camp Zoo is a camp favorite because our campers can adopt a pet while they are at camp and then take on the responsibility for that furry or scaly critter. Our Nature Center Director is excellent at creating excitement about the outdoors bring each camper to a place of learning more about the environment.
Safety: A Paramount Commitment:
Swift Nature Camp places safety at the forefront of the experience. Rigorous safety protocols, trained staff, and meticulously maintained facilities create an environment where parents can entrust their children with confidence. Nearly 1/2 of all staff are licensed lifeguards with all being trained in first aid and CPR.
