Amazing experience at Chicago Mini Musicians and with Mr. X! My baby boy started classes at Mini Musicians when he was 4months old and now by 7months, he loves listening to music, clapping his hands along with it, loves shaking tambourines, learned to overcome his fear of ball rolling, etc.☺️ If you’re a parent wondering if this is worth a try, it is well worth it, so go ahead and register!

So glad to have found Mini Musicians! Our daughter started when she was 2, and we have had such a wonderful experience all the way around. Our teacher (Mr. X) is the kindest, gentlest, most patient soul who somehow also sings like a literal angel. The original music is amazing. Anyone parenting toddlers knows the classic nursery rhymes can start to get really old so to have some new music (unique to class and of very high quality) is so wonderful. And, the digital access allows you to familiarize yourself/your kiddo (a great comfort if your little tends to be shyer/slow to try new things). The communication was fantastic and they are so considerate of each child’s varying needs/development and understanding when it comes to “aging up”. We highly recommend and feel so fortunate to have found Mini Musicians!

I wish there were a way to give more than five stars. Brought my 1.5 year old grandson here earlier last summer after meeting who would become his music teacher at a Farmer's Market event. He had given us a postcard detailing information for a $5 demo class, and we gave it a try. So happy we did! Chicago Mini Musicians is our favorite weekly activity! Our teacher Xavier (Mr. X) is very personable, talented, and clearly adores kids! The kids play several instruments throughout the session, and there is a song that is sung when it's time to put the instruments away that we sing at home when it's time to put toys away!☺️ Besides singing they learn how to handle the instruments, how to wait for their turn, and independence in choosing their "square" to sit on! The owner, Clara is very responsive and keeps us all informed with seasonal newsletters to let us know what to expect in upcoming sessions. The space is ample, and clean. Class sizes are small, and the cost isn't prohibitive. It is without a doubt the most rewarding activity I share with my grandson. And he LOVES it! If you are reading reviews you are likely looking for music classes for your littles, you needn't look any further. I would suggest taking advantage of the $5 demo class (that I think is offered on their website still) to check it out. You will not be disappointed.

We have been going to music class for 1.5 years and it is my child's and my favorite weekend activity each week. My little one can be pretty shy in most group settings, but when she gets to music class she shines. I love that all the kids and grownups can sing, dance, and be silly together. Her favorite part of class is playing the big drum. Ms. Clara’s songs have become family songs for us - we have them all memorized and we play them every time we are in the car.
