Cuppycakes Early Learning Academy serves children ages 2-6 in Andersonville, Uptown and the surrounding area. Open 7am-6:30pm.
Our kindergarten prep program includes phonics, stem and creative arts. We also focus on incorporating emotional development encompassing mindfulness, meditation, self-esteem, compassion and empathy into core curriculum activities. In addition to small group learning all children receive one on one detailed attention to target their specific needs, special interests and learning style.
Yoga, Mindfulness & Meditation
At Cuppycakes social emotional development is part of our core curriculum. This includes fostering self awareness, being in touch with emotions, identifying emotions and resolving “big” emotions in a productive way. Additionally we use both yoga and meditation as a way to channel emotions and relax.
Outdoor Activity
Cuppycakes is located close to Buttercup park, Margate park and Winthrop Harmony Arts garden. Weather permitting children will do outdoor activities frequently, including games, art expression and playground. Additionally, the children will learn about environmental preservation, animals, exercise, weather, nature and the ecosystem.
Individualized Instruction
We believe that in order for children to succeed they need one on one and small group learning. This helps to identify learning styles, special interests and any barriers to hitting developmental milestones. The children will receive weekly one on one and small group learning.
Lunch & Snack included
Cuppycakes provides lunch and 2 snacks daily. We strive to provide well balanced meals and adhere to any allergy restrictions including being a nut free environment. We also provide the opportunity to pack a lunch if your family or child has food preferences.
