City LIFE is the perfect opportunity for 7th-9th graders to take advantage of everything Chicago has to offer, learn how to navigate the CTA, strengthen their communication and leadership skills, and give back to the community all at the same time. Exciting activities include an improv class, Michigan Avenue scavenger hunt, and cooking class–providing fun opportunities to explore the city and develop confidence and independence. 

The Chopping Block’s Kids & Teens Cooking Camps offer fun, hands-on culinary experiences where young chefs learn real kitchen skills, kitchen safety, and how to cook from scratch. Taught by professional chefs, our camps build confidence, creativity, and independence in the kitchen.
