MOVIES AT GALLAGHER WAY IS ONE OF THE BEST THINGS TO DO DURING THE SUMMER IN CHICAGO. ENJOY FREE SCREENINGS IN THE PARK LOCATED IN GALLAGHER WAY, DIRECTLY OUTSIDE OF WRIGLEY FIELD.
Movies at Gallagher Way is part of Gallagher Way’s summer programming series. Gallagher Way teams up with Alamo Drafthouse Cinema to hand-select a schedule of nostalgic, free, outdoor movies that runs from May to end of September.
Gates open at 6 p.m. select Wednesdays and the movie begins at 7:30 p.m. Guests are encouraged to bring carry-out food from Gallagher Way restaurants, such as Big Star tacos or Smoke Daddy. No outside alcoholic beverages are permitted. Beer, wine, non-alcoholic beverages, candy, popcorn, ice cream and other snacks are for sale in the park. Please click here to review all of our FAQs.
Reserved seating and rentable chairs are available and include one (1) alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverage, one (1) bottle of water, a Jeni's ice cream "street treat", one (1) take away souvenir cup, and one (1) popcorn from Garrett Popcorn Shops or candy, with a dedicated server throughout the movie. Online sales are available until 4 p.m. on the day of the movie. If there are still seats available for purchase at 6 p.m. when gates open, those seats may be purchased in person on a first-come, first-served basis. All guests are welcome to bring blankets if they prefer to lay on the grass. Seating on the grass is free and first-come, first served. No chairs are allowed on the grass.
