Ring in the Lunar New Year at the Field Museum! Enjoy performances from the Chicago Chinese Cultural Center’s Lion Dance team, the sonorous sounds of throat singing, horse-head fiddles, and percussion from the Mongolian folk-fusion trio Tuvergen Band, dance performances from award-winning dance troupes Hao Dance and the Chicago Korean Dance Company, and gravity-defying tricks from the Chinese Yo-Yo school! Stop by the Grainger Science Hub after the performance to see Chinese calligraphy demonstrations.
