Description
Do you know what to do if you encounter an infant, child or adult who is choking or needs CPR? At the end of this one-hour course, you will feel better prepared to know what to do in a variety of situations where quick thinking is essential. Our instructor will teach our students (ages 14+) how to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies involving adults, children and infants. Our instructor does offer CPR certification courses, however, attendees of this class will not receive CPR/AED/choking certification. About the instructor: Karli Salinger has taught CPR classes throughout the Chicagoland community certifying hundreds of people. In 2019, she received her EMT-B license and has been able to help people in a new and amazing capacity. In 2023, she established Making Heroes, LLC in an effort to share the life saving skills with more people throughout Chicago. She has also been managing psychologists’ practices since 2009 with an organization that services patients diagnosed with severe mental illnesses.
