Ready for the spotlight?  Join an American Eagle performing arts class and discover the joy of theatre!

American Eagle Productions offers theatre programming for ages 4-13 in Andersonville, Edgewater, Naperville, and the Western Suburbs.  With a focus on musical theatre, our classes and camps provide young performers the opportunity to gain a basic understanding of the theatre as well as a chance to hone their performance skills in acting, singing, and dance while exploring their imaginations.  Led by professional performers and teaching artists, students collaborate to create an original script, develop unique characters, and design their own props and/or costumes.  Each session culminates in an original performance to share with family and friends.

2022-23 Theatre Programming:

  • Weekly Classes - Our most popular classes are our weekly community classes held in Chicago and Naperville.  Choose from a variety of exciting themes including Broadway shows and your child's favorite Disney movies.
  • After School Enrichment Classes - We offer musical theatre enrichment classes at various schools in Chicago, Naperville, and the Western Suburbs.
  • Day Off Camps - New this year are our Day Off Camps held at our Andersonville and Naperville locations which offer parents a fun and creative option to childcare when schools are closed during the school year.
  • Customized Classes & Parties - Customize your own private class, session, or theatre-themed birthday party!

Covid Precautions: American Eagle Productions has completed the Be Safe Chicago certification and will adhere to all city and CDC health guidelines to ensure your child remains safe and healthy during this time. All teaching artists and staff have been vaccinated for COVID-19 as well.

Business Review

"I saw [my son] light up in his drama class -- he had such a good time and I could see how the small group format was great for his social engagement. He couldn't wait to participate in the next session." -Kate, AEP Parent

"I liked acting in Oliver [class] and I thought it was fun doing the British voice. And I liked how the class was small unlike school because it feels more comfortable talking in the group." -Emmett, age 9, AEP Student

"My 6 year old daughter looks forward to class every week. She comes home singing   the songs and showing me her 'new dance moves.' When I ask about her teacher, she exclaims, 'She's AWESOME!!' As a parent, I have loved the clear communication and professionalism from American Eagle. I know that my daughter is being cared for and is learning new skills each week. Highly recommended!" -Cassie, AEP Parent

"My two boys, ages 8 and 6, loved every minute of our American Eagle Productions' class. It was the highlight of their week. Even when the class went online, their amazing teacher Ms. Natalie was engaging, enthusiastic, and dynamic. Both boys became more  confident in their singing and acting. We can’t wait for the next session!" -Kelli, AEP Parent
