The Historic Depot at Norwood Park is located on the Northwest Side of Chicago. The Depot is one of Chicago's oldest train station structures. This little slice of Chicago and railroad history has been thoughtfully molded into a modern event venue while maintaining its historical feel.
Built in 1907, the station underwent a major renovation in 1999. With 1,100 square feet of open space the 40' x 24' former waiting room has soaring ceilings, elegant hanging chandeliers, period era artwork and an historic feel. The former ticket booth has been thoughtfully repurposed into a service bar and kitchenette; including two refrigerators, freezer, microwave, and three compartment sink. The renovation included the addition of ADA compliant access and restrooms.
